She called her brother three minutes before she died. In November 2022, twenty-year-old Nykera Brown died of a single gunshot wound in a basement suite on Avenue P South. The only other person in that apartment told police two masked men had done it. The building's cameras showed nobody came in or out. Three years later a judge found him not guilty, and her mother screamed and walked out of the courtroom. Nobody has ever been convicted. This route includes the actual police interrogation footage played at trial.

We recommend 16+. Real crimes are described factually. Nothing gratuitous, but these are true stories about real victims, told with that weight.
